June 14th!

Hey Families!

Just a teeny tiny update to send some photos and give a few reminders. Here we are ... coming up on the last full week of grade three. Time FLIES when you're having fun and boy is it flying!

This week we had a blast working on our big paper mache project! We are working on the good copy for our fairy tale writing unit and we have been blitzing through fractions. In the photos you will see us setting up pizzerias with fractions of pizzas removed. Then the owners did a fraction walk, visiting other shops and trying to figure out the fractions missing - so cute. Of course Dean Martin was blaring and some were inspired to create playdoh mustaches ... because, why not?!

As we head into this last week here's what you need to know:

Monday - our tie dye project is happening. I have emailed for the last couple shirts I am missing ... so if you didn't receive an email from me, you're kiddo is good to go!

Tuesday - the water fight has been moved to Tuesday the 25th due to bad weather predicted for this week...

Wednesday - outside ALL day! Please make sure your kiddo is dressed for the weather, has LOTS of good food and snacks and a full water bottle. No crocs please, but proper walking shoes. Bug spray, sunscreen, hats, etc. are all appreciated! We will be down in Indian Battle Park for the day on our last outdoor adventure.

Thursday - Sport's day in the afternoon! Dress for the weather. Hats, sunscreen, running gear, proper shoes!

Friday - Normal Friday!

We've got LOTS to wrap up ... presentations for social studies, good copies for fairy tales, paper mache project, fraction unit, environment club final school wide project ... we are still GOING AND LEARNING! Thanks for all you do at home to support us.

Have a wonderful sunny weekend! Please reach out if you need anything!

Ms. M
