Hello Parents!

Just a quick update today - we had such a great week! We have made big progress with our living system. Ask your child all about the steps we took this week to expand our aquarium and the living things (with their very scientific names) that we added!

We found some really cool things at outdoor school, including a very interesting skeleton, which became the subject of much investigation (see below). We learned how to create field notes, and practiced on our little skeleton.

We're learning about place value now in numeracy and spending lots of time reading. We were outside creating land art and have finished up our persuasive writing to the turkey farmer. Gosh, those are cute!

Next week:

Tuesday: We will celebrate Emma L.'s birthday! We also have learning commons, so please help us remember our books from home.

Wednesday: Take me outside day! We are heading to the Elizabeth Hall wetlands for a field trip to one of my favorite play places in the city. Lovingly past classes and I have named it "the building zone". Please, please dress for the weather! Send some extra snacks too because it's sure to be a playful and fun time!

Thursday: New exciting critters should be joining our living system community ... stay tuned!

**Parent teacher interviews are coming up the following week. Make sure you sign up for a slot. I LOVE this time to connect! I really look forward to meeting with you!

Have a wonderful weekend, please keep in touch!

Ms. M
