June 6th!

Hello Families!

We are rolling into the last couple weeks here - I am sad to say! This group has been such a joy this year and such curious and hard-working learners. I let them know on Monday this week that I will be heading to Lakeview next year - a big change! I am really excited about my new role, but of course I will deeply miss this community and all of these wonderful students (and families) that have made these past couple years coming back into education so enjoyable.

As for big updates, there isn't too much to say that isn't listed in our previous "June" post. Social projects are "due Monday". Believe it or not, they were given lots of time on this project and it's been a massive challenge for them. Researching is hard and we've had to explicitly teach so many elements. If you have more questions - please let me know and I will check my email over the weekend. Their project needs to be both visual and informative ... however that ends up being is great! Follow the emailed outline, or the same one (but on yellow paper) sent home with them for all the details. Your help is very much appreciated!

I am sending home some permission clicks and letters today attached to our website update. Please take a minute to fill those out and to also check school cash for the fees!
